Mom went to London, England; Paris, France; The Swiss Alps, Switzerland; Venice, Florence, and Rome, Italy. Here is a photo of our travel team. . Mom's bad knee.
Wrap Up Mommy and Go! Thank God we did not have one day of rain or extreme cold.
The Best Way to View Paris is From the Seine River at Night. There are palaces and mansions on both sides of the river. They are all museums now.
No One Prepares You For All The Charm.
Now To The Louvre
The Louvre is one of the largest museums in the world, The Louvre has sooooo many wonderful ornate rooms. The tour guide told us that if you put all the rooms end to end, the building's rooms would equal nine miles in length!
The beautiful Pyramids are on the lower level of the museum. Wow Real History! A beautiful statue of Joan of Arc is on the street.
The Queen was at home. The flag was up at Buckingham Palace. She did not let us in the gate though. Mom was visibly jealous of the size of the Queen's palace. Mom said, "That is a bit much." I think she thinks her house should be that big too. Mom looked at something else instead.
The royals get married here.
These buildings are huge and have a presence. Except for the Queen's Palace, Mom liked all the buildings in London. Mom said "my God" regarding the beauty.
Mom and I sat in the museum's cafe and drank small coffees and ate fancy yogurt. Mom was happy and I got to be an Impressionist image. The young men who served us were very nice. Our first Impression of Europe was good.
Please Listen to the Singer who Sang to us on the Boat. WOW! It takes a minute to load. We were almost in the dark at that point on our cruise.
SAINT MARK'S SQUARE
FLORENCE We Went to an Academic Museum to See the "David" Mom did not like the NAKED "David" but She liked all the Churches and the cute shops!
Michelangelo was buried here.
Let's go to the Vatican!!!
We Visited The Vatican It was beautiful inside and out! Except for the stolen obelisk taken from Egypt. Hummm.
Mom was Very Happy!
LISTEN TO THE MUSIC WE GOT LUCKY. THEY FIRED UP THE ORGANS!
The Sistine Chapel
The Colosseum This was the last stop. We were tooooo tired to go in. It was not made for a wheelchair either. We took a picture in front of it and marveled at the size if it for quit a while. How did they build it with no forklift???
CARDBOARD ART CHAIRS Don't forget the cardboard "art" chairs that we had in our hotel room in Italy! They were completely useless except they were pretty to look at. Mom thought they were a HOOT!
I Didn't Forget The Swiss Alps in Switzerland! We passed through Switzerland before we went to Italy. The people speak several languages there.
For some reason the date/time on the photos are wrong. I think the battery was low.
We got to speak a few words in four languages. I giggled afterward and people smiled. I thanked people all the time. Everyone knew English and they were all very
